If you don't see the property type listed, don’t worry, just select the option matches closest to it. For example, if the property is a ground floor flat in a Victorian terraced house, you would select ‘Ground floor flat’.

Telling us about the type of property helps us work out the heat loss of the property through the walls, floors, and roofs.

The age of your home gives us an idea of the construction methods and building materials used. You can find the year that your property was built on your Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) report, if you have one.

If you don't have an EPC, you could find the details on your house deeds. If you own your home; your survey or home report may tell you when your home was built.

Please include all rooms in your home which were originally meant to be used as bedrooms but may be used for other purposes, such as a home office or playroom.
